Karla Bergstrom

Karla Bergstrom - Alberta Canola

Karla's primary role with Alberta Canola is to tackle the policy issues that are important to farmers, but are also often dreaded by farmers. She has worked on a wide-range of files and government consultations for Alberta’s canola producers from rail transportation, trade agreements, farm safety, grain contracts and grading, regional planning, mergers, bees, and sustainability…otherwise known as social license or public trust.

Karla would be honoured to have dinner and converse with the five extraordinary Alberta women who were trailblazers for women and children in Canada; The Famous Five: Emily Murphy, Irene Parlby, Nellie McClung, Louise McKinney, and Henrietta Muir Edwards.
