Geoff Roy - Cervus Equipment in Calgary, AB
Geoff grew up a fourth generation farm kid on his family’s mixed farm near Youngstown, Alberta. He was very much a part of his farming operations, from livestock handling to driving tractors. He spent years helping build his community as a 4-H Club Member and working summers for the Special Areas rural municipality parks department. After graduating high school from a class of eight, he pursued a career path in business and received a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in marketing from Mount Royal University in 2010. Four years spent working in the oil & gas industry in downtown Calgary led him to a crossroad as the industry started to shift and Geoff had to decide if this was the right path for him. As Geoff looked for his next career move, he discovered an underlying passion to return to agriculture and re-establish that small town community feeling, helping to support and lead the next generation of farmers and ranchers.
As Marketing Advisor with Cervus Equipment John Deere, Geoff is ingrained in Alberta’s small town communities where his focus is to help customers succeed and advance their operations with John Deere’s industry leading equipment and technology. He’s active in developing and leading the company’s marketing strategy, sponsorships and most importantly supporting his fellow Cervus John Deere stores in delivering the best customer service. The programs Geoff is proud to lead with Cervus include being the presenting sponsor of 4-H on Parade with the Calgary Stampede, the partnership with Olds College, and supporting the hundreds of local community events and organizations in the small town communities he grew up in and around.
A farm kid at heart, Geoff resides in Okotoks with his wife Amie and newborn son Jace. He continues to be centered around farming and ranching, living not far from his uncle’s cattle ranch near Longview.
