Canada's Agricultural Day is back for the second year, and here in Alberta we’re celebrating our agricultural heritage (past, present, and future) by getting to know more about our producers, processors, and partners. Their relevance is more poignant than ever, the connections between them and the consumer are more important than ever because they feed our province, country, and the world!
Join the conversation on our Twitter and Instagram accounts (@aseatatourtable) as we learn more about our partners for this year’s Meet in the Middle event on February 13, 2018. You’ll be surprised at the rich agricultural history of our province and amazed at how it has changed over time. We’re eager to show you, the consumer, why having that connection from the ground up is so important. What’s on your plate is only half the story - the rest is a part of Alberta’s agricultural history. Engage, listen, ask questions. Get to know where the food on your plate comes from and ensure that there’s plenty to go around for future generations.
