Graham Graff - Grain Farmer in Ferintosh, AB
Graham is a 4th generation farmer who, along with his family, farms 3000 acres in central Alberta. Formerly a mixed operation with beef cattle and grain, the Graff’s exited the beef industry in 2012 and are now focused solely on producing cereals, oilseeds and legumes. With a farming heritage on both sides of his family, and the fact that he now farms land passed down from both sets of grandparents, Graham believes that farming runs in his blood.
Graham recently completed a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alberta where he specialized in entrepreneurship and family business. He also holds a Qualified Mediator Designation with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada. Along with his passion for farming, Graham is interested in farm management consulting and working with agribusinesses and farming families in the areas of strategic planning, dispute resolution and succession planning.
One of the highlights of Graham’s MBA degree was when he initiated and led a successful Farm to Fork event hosted at his family farm. Local and international MBA students and their families attended, with 5 continents being represented at the event. Graham was proud to discuss Alberta’s world class, sustainable farming practices and how vital agriculture is to our communities and economy. He would like to thank the U of A Net Impact Program for making the event a reality.
